Aviation Merit Badge Day

The South Dakota Air National Guard has offered us a once in a lifetime opportunity to have real Air Guard personnel teach Scouts the Aviation Merit Badge. There is a limit to 15 Scouts, and a starting age limit of 14. 

Cost: $20 per person. 

*cost covers Scouting America Insurance, food, and program materials. 

Any participant that is 17 or older (adults included) must fill out the form below and return it to the Center for Scouting (800 N West Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104 or email sioux.council@scouting.org).

Pre-requisite: 

#5  – Find out about three career opportunities in aviation. Pick one and find the education, training, and experience required for this profession.  Discuss this with your counselor and explain why this profession might interest you.
